Dating apps shouldn't make you squint, panic, or guess what an icon means. Yabodoo is designed from the first pixel to be calm, readable and easy to navigate — whether you're 25 or 75, and whether you read by skimming or by sounding words out.

Our accessibility promise
Comfortable for older readers
Our base text is generously sized, lines stay short enough to follow, and there's room around every button so nothing feels cramped. We avoid tiny grey-on-grey type.
Friendly to dyslexic readers
We use a warm cream background instead of harsh white to reduce glare. Body text uses Manrope, a clean rounded sans-serif. We avoid italic body text, keep paragraphs short, and never justify text.
Plain, kind language
We write in short sentences, in everyday words. No jargon, no marketing puff, no surprise idioms. If a sentence has to be re-read, we rewrite it.
Keyboard and screen-reader ready
Every interactive element is reachable with the Tab key and shows a clear focus ring. Headings are properly nested, images have meaningful alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Big, calm tap targets
Buttons are at least 44 by 44 pixels. The interactive heart is even larger, with a long-press fallback. No tiny icons, no fiddly gestures.
Respect for reduced motion
Animations are gentle and short. Where the system asks for reduced motion, decorative motion is dialled back.
