Interactive prototype

Meet the people already in the room.

Two phones, one room, and the same screens the app ships with. Start discovery on each side and tap a heart — nothing is shared until both of you have, and then both phones turn green at the same moment.

Try it yourself — you control both phones.

Tap "Start discovering" on each phone, then tap a heart on each side. The tabs along the bottom are live too: today's photo, safety and SOS, your profile and your settings.

  1. 1 Start discovery on either phone
  2. 2 Tap the heart on both sides
  3. 3 Mutual — both turned green

Discovery

See who's around

Find people near you right now — out walking, or in any bar or pub. No venue needed.

Your location is only shared while you're discovering, and only to show you nearby people. Leave any time to go invisible.

Nothing sent. Sam shows the resting Yabodoo heart, the same as everyone in the room.

The heart, in three states

What you see depends only on your own actions — and on whether the feeling turns out to be mutual.

  • Resting

    The starting state

Everyone in the room shows the same resting heart — a dark button carrying the gold Yabodoo mark. Nothing has happened yet: you haven't shown interest, and there's no way of knowing whether they have.

  • Yellow

    Your private interest

Tap a heart and it warms to gold in your view only. Like as many people as you want — none of them are told, nudged, or given any way to tell.

  • Green

    Mutual interest

If they independently like you back, both phones turn green at the same moment and the match screen opens. Green is the only state ever shared between two people.

A traffic light for saying hello.

  1. 01

    Discover, in the room

Bluetooth and location surface only the people discovering around you right now — in a venue, or simply nearby. No global swipe deck.

  2. 02

    Yellow · private to you

Your tap turns their card yellow on your side only. They aren't told, nudged, or shown anything — there is nothing to turn down, so there is no rejection.

  3. 03

Green · then find each other

Both phones light up, and a proximity meter warms up as you walk towards each other. No chat — you are already in the same room.

The quiet matching you just tried is backed by safety and privacy built in from the start.
