Data protection
Your data, your control.
Last updated 1 July 2026
Under UK GDPR and equivalent laws, you have clear rights over your personal data. This page explains those rights and how to use them.
Who is responsible
Yabodoo is the data controller for the personal data you share with us. That means we decide how and why your data is processed, and we are accountable for keeping it safe.
The legal basis
We process most of your data to provide the service you asked for (our contract with you). Safety-critical processing, like screening images for illegal content, is carried out to meet our legal obligations and protect people.
Your right to access
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can download most of it directly from the app, or request a full export from our team.
Your right to correct or delete
You can edit your profile at any time. You can also delete your account, which removes your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Your right to object
You can object to certain processing and withdraw consent for optional features at any time, without losing access to core parts of the service.
International transfers
Where we use service providers outside your country, we make sure appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, are in place to protect your data.
Making a request or complaint
Email dpo@yabodoo.com to exercise any of these rights. If you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
